DANIELA’S WEDDING DAY STORY

INSEPARABLE AT FIRST SIGHT: Daniela and Nick met at a bar in Melbourne’s CBD the night of Nicks 19th Birthday in 2009. The couple shared common interests such as fishing and travelling. They spent almost every single day together since the night they met and even travelled the world together.

THE PROPOSAL:  On Valentine’s Day 2016, Daniela and Nick were spending a weekend away in Echuca. Nick got down on one knee and popped the question while they were fishing on a houseboat, to an overwhelmed Daniela who screamed ‘YES!’

A FLORAL OASIS: To say Daniela and Nick’s wedding was HUGE, is an understatement! They had a total of 479 guests at Sheldon Receptions. The hall was decked out in florals, including a 6 meter floral runner on the main table, and every single guest table had a big floral centrepiece. There were also six Perspex stands on the dance floor with floral toppers.

The best part of Daniela’s big day was the morning of the wedding at her parent’s house. The celebrations started at 8am, with food, the guests, and the band all in tow. Daniela’s dad did an amazing job decking out the pergola in white tulle to create a magical wedding oasis.

BRIDES DRESS: Daniela wanted her dress to be simple yet stylish and interesting.

She chose a ‘magical princess’ style by Fiore Couture. The bodice was covered in jewels which led to a massive tulle skirt.

BRIDES ADVICE: “Enjoy every second of the day because before I knew it, I blinked and the day was over!”
