JENNA’S WEDDING DAY STORY

YOU’RE HIRED: Jenna and Andrew met at work. When Jenna was touring the laboratory on an interview for a position at the company, she later found out that Andrew had hoped she would be hired. Several months later they became really good friends and this eventuated into something more! Jenna says that Andrew came to pick her up from the hospital with a bunch of flowers and chocolates and that it was in this moment she knew that Andrew was perfect for her.

THE PROPOSAL: On a holiday to Surfers Paradise Andrew had carefully planted a ring box in his suitcase, concealed in a pair of socks! At the airport Andrew nervously got the suitcase through without any drama and two days into their holiday he got down on one knee after a romantic walk along the beach. They celebrated that night with a beautiful dinner at a Thai restaurant – celebratory drinks included!

VINTAGE GARDEN BLISS: The ceremony was held within the beautiful garden at Chateau Dore and the reception was held in the Platinum Room at the Foundry in Bendigo. They had about 100 guests in attendance. The theme for the wedding was vintage so Andrew arrived at the ceremony in a Ford Mustang which his groomsmen organized as a surprise for him. Jenna arrived at the ceremony in a black Chrysler limo. The best part of Jenna’s big day was arriving at the ceremony and catching a glimpse of her handsome man waiting for her to walk down the aisle.

BRIDES DRESS: Jenna chose to wear a lace fishtail style dress for her big day, as she wanted something elegant and beautiful, not too out there and not too simple.

BRIDES ADVICE: “Choose what you want and not what others tell you that you should have! Choose your wedding party carefully, ensuring they are supportive, not self-absorbed and there for you for your big day! Enjoy the day, it goes very quickly!”
