Kirsty & Daniel

KIRSTY’S WEDDING DAY STORY

FRIENDS TO LOVEBIRDS: Kirsty and Daniel met at high school where they formed a friendship in Year 10. It wasn’t until Year 12 where the pair decided to pursue things romantically.

THE PROPOSAL: Daniel certainly put a lot of planning an effort into this special proposal! On the day of their nine and half year anniversary (which happened to fall on a Monday), he took the day off work to put all his ideas in motion. It started off with Kirsty receiving an Everlasting Bouquet rose in a glass dome at work – something she had her eye on for quite some time. Upon arriving home from work, Kirsty walked in to find Daniel had decorated the house with candles, rose petals, a fireplace flickering on the TV, and he even had their favourite music playing in the background. She eventually found him waiting for her in the bedroom, where he got down on one knee and popped the question! After many happy tears, Kirsty and Daniel enjoyed a romantic dinner eating Kirsty’s favourite – risotto!

SUNSET CELEBRATIONS: The couple wanted their ‘first look’ to be relaxed and intimate while being captured by their photographers from Perla Photography. They decided to capture the special moment of Daniel and Kirsty seeing each other for the first time after the pair had gotten ready separately with their groomsmen and bridesmaids. Kirsty says this was such a special moment and she’s so happy she has a lasting memory of it.

The couple then enjoyed a beautifully intimate ceremony and reception, joined by 70 of their closest family and friends at Vue on Halcyon in Chirnside Park. The weather was absolutely perfect with sunshine and blue skies in abundance. As their guests enjoyed canapes and drinks – the bridal party took their photos and were blessed with an incredible sunset against the hills of the vineyard. Kirsty and Daniel are still in awe at just how amazing the view was! The rest of the night was enjoyed by eating delicious food, drinking amazing wine and dancing the night away with their loved ones.

Kirsty says the best part of their big day was getting to celebrate their love in front of their family and closest friends. It created so many beautiful memories that they will be able to look back on for many years to come.

BRIDES ADVICE: Figure out what is most important to you and your fiancé on the wedding day and prioritise that when allocating funds for your wedding budget. The other thing, would be to select suppliers that you trust, as that really makes your day.

WHY BRIDESMAIDS DRESSING ROOM?:  When I started doing research online for the bridesmaids dresses, Bridesmaids Dressing Room had amazing reviews that I just had to go have a look with my two bridesmaids, Britt and Becs. When we arrived, Aneta was so friendly, helpful and attentive. We were looking for bridesmaids dresses that were 3/4 long and came in the same colour but had the option of different styles (being that my two bridesmaids had different body shapes). This seemed like a difficult task, until we came to Bridesmaids Dressing Room.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH BRIDESMAIDS DRESSING ROOM:We decided on a Shona Joy dress in Aubergine. The girls both looked stunning in their d dresses and were comfortable the whole day. The colour complemented the purple theme and the autumn colours perfectly. Britt and Becs have both said that they will be able to wear them again at other events. I know a few brides-to-be that I have recommended Bridesmaids Dressing Room since our wedding because of the amazing experience Aneta provided.
