LISA’S WEDDING DAY STORY

MUTUAL CONNECTION: Lisa and Simon met ten years ago, through mutual friends. Over the years, the couple grew closer and closer and the rest – as they say – is history.

THE PROPOSAL:  Simon treated Lisa to a beautiful picnic at St Alfred Nicholas Gardens by the lake and popped the question. After their special lunch, he then brought her to her next surprise – a gorgeous one night’s stay in a house which was a replica of the future home they were building. Lisa says it was truly a magical day.

GREEN & GOLD: The couple got married at Bram Leigh Receptions and commended the venue for ticking all the boxes. The ceremony took place in their gorgeous chapel with stunning grounds available for the couple and bridal party to take wedding photos. Lisa chose a coloured theme of green and gold and loved how her bridesmaid’s emerald green dresses complemented this theme. Although the day went fast, Lisa describes it as being magical, the highlight for her being Simon’s speech where he expressed his love and respect for her and her family.

 BRIDES DRESS: Lisa’s dress was a lace mermaid style with ruffles.

BRIDES ADVICE: “Be prepared as much as possible. Things will happen that you can’t prevent. Just enjoy the day, focus on you and your partner and do what you feel is right for the day – don’t listen to other’s expectations.”
